Video geeks and fashionistas, rejoice! These two polar opposite interests, video gaming and fashion, have now merged together in the form of a fabulous Project Runway-themed video game. In conjunction with 505 Games and Lifetime, the IMG Fashion Week mastermind announced just this morning that the game will release sometime later this year.
Similar games have come along before this; The Sims 2007 featured an H&M shop, "Style Lab: Makeover" was part of the Ubisoft Style Lab Line, and 505 created "Fashion Week: Junior Stylist" this past June 2009. All titles did quite well in stores, so with a big name like "Project Runway', this new PR video game should do fabulously!
Hard-core gamers may not buy this blatantly female-targeted setup, but all you fashion-fanatics who can't get enough of their favorite pastime, this might just be for you! Let's hope all of our favorite judges are part of this, as well as some of our celebriy design contestants and winners. We are so looking forward to seeing Cristian Siriano's fierce phrases and Santino Rice's hilarious Tim Gunn impersonations. Cannot wait to try this one out! "Make it Work".
