Gang Green Trampled By The Colts

J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets! NYJ fans started cheering on their team Friday at the official Jets parade, and continued to roar in support all the way until the end of today's AFC Championship game. We were all hoping that quarterback Mark Sanchez and the Giant's smart defense would lead us to another surprise victory against the Indianapolis colts, and it was looking hopeful going into halftime with a 17-13 lead. However, the tides quickly turned in the third quarter, when the Colts galloped ahead, and our Jets seemed to have run out of fuel. The Jets completely lost their running game, while Colt's quarterback Peyton Manning racked up 377 yards and three touchdowns. It was Manning's 80 yard drive, three consecutive passes to Austin Collie, that picked up the momentum that the Indianapolis needed to take off. The Jet's fairy-tale season has come to an end, brought to a close by Peyton Manning...at Lucas Oil Stadium, final score 30-17...Colts victory. It would've been so dreamy to see New York head to the Superbowl, especially after a let-down performance this season by the Giants. The Jets have not advanced this far since the 1998 season, and this year our men in green have us a glimmer of hope for a chance at the Superbowl 44. Those were extraordinary odds , but the gang green dream run has come to a halt. The Colts will now head to their first Superbowl since 2007, facing the winner of the New Orleans Saints vs Minnesota Vikings NFC Championship game. Congrats to the Jets on an amazing season, you continuously surprised us, and we are so proud of our New York team in green!!! It's been a great ride, we'll get 'em next year boys (right Fireman Ed?!)..NY pride! xoxo
