Pops most recognizable star, Madonna, has influenced the music industry with her unique style and sound. She has been featured in every magazine and spotted on billboards everywhere. In December, Madonna was working on an ad campaign for D&G, which reflected upon a modern day version of Italian actress, Anna Magani. She now is reportedly in talks with Macy’s to design a contemporary women’s collection with a group of licensees. The merchandise would include apparel, accessories, intimates and footwear. WWD stated that a possible name for the apparel line is Material Girl, while the lingerie collection might be labeled Truth or Dare. I am sure some of her iconic looks will be featured in her collection, such as lacy fingerless gloves and bustier dresses and tops. There is no confirmation that a deal is final, but I have a feeling we will be seeing Madonna’s collection soon!
