Makeup Brand Debuts First-Ever Unretouched Makeup Ad

These days, every magazine cover features celebrities who have been Photoshopped to an unrealistic extent — we all know that no one is flawless, even if they have millions of dollars to spend on perfecting their bodies and appearances. I mean, what’s wrong with the fine lines that everyone has on their faces? Some of these insanely touched-up covers make celebs look like they’re wearing masks (and that’s not a good thing).

In response to the overboard Photoshop trend, a makeup brand is trying something completely different. Make Up For Ever is launching a new ad campaign for their HD Invisible Cover Foundation through print ads that are (gasp) unretouched.
Of course, the model is young and gorgeous, she probably has perfect skin, and the picture was taken from a considerable distance, but at least this is a step in the right direction.

Readers, what do you think of Make Up For Ever’s latest ad campaign? Are you as sick of the Photoshop overload as I am?
