Although The Daily reported earlier this morning on the continued drama surrounding AMC execs and creator Matthew Weiner, word is surprise hit "Mad Men" will return in early 2012 for its fifth season.
The tension between the two parties is seemingly the result of AMC wanting more influence on the show and demanding everything from character cuts, budget reductions, and more - something Weiner is staunchly opposing.
Regardless of the intricacies of the deal, it looks at though the show's creator and AMC execs have reached a deal that satisfies both parties' demands.
