Prince William and Kate Middleton have announced their official wedding cake — and it’s an unusual choice for a wedding (at least by American standards).
Middleton apparently felt very strongly about this issue, and she has decided to serve her guests a multi-tiered traditional fruitcake with a floral design. The ingredients include dried fruits, walnuts, cherries, oranges, and lemon. The cake is set to be made by celebrity baker Fiona Cairns (pictured above).
If this sounds gross to you, then the groom’s cake (a chocolate biscuit concoction) might be more appealing.
The much-anticipated royal wedding is only a month away, but many major details (including what dress Middleton will wear) have not yet been announced.
