Mexicana Airlines filed for bankruptcy this summer, which left the airline's employees in limbo. In order to raise money to save their airlines, the Mexicana Airlines' stewardesses did something that gets most women fire in this day and age - they took off their clothes.
The women posed, paid $8,000 out of pocket and printed a 2011 "sexy stewardesses" calendar to raise money for the struggling airline.
Now, nothing against entrepreneurial women who are getting creative to save their jobs, but why is this the stewardesses problem?
Regardless, the women have certainly cultivated media attention for their cause, and the calendar is in its second printing. Hopefully it will be clear skies for the women and the airline in the future.
