Louis Vuitton's Latest Campaign Features Bono and Wife, No Band Mates

Fans of Bono rejoice and pay attention!

The musician/humanitarian/husband will appear with his wife in the latest Louis Vuitton campaign, "Core Values."

As Women's Wear Daily reported, this marks the first time the U2 front man will appear in a campaign without his band mates.

Another first, Louis Vuitton will not be receiving the fashion credit for Bono and wife Ali Hewson's outfits. The two will wear Edun, which WWD describes as an 'ethical clothing label...founded to encourage trade with Africa, and in which LVMH took a 49 percent stake last year."

For those ready to jump to an obvious conclusion and call Bono a sell-out, consider this: the musician and his wife donated their fees to TechnoServe, Conservation Cotton Initiative, Chernobyl Children's Project International.

Be on the lookout for Louis Vuitton's latest ad to break mid-September.
