"Gossip Girl" might not be airing an episode this week, but one of the stars is embracing the time off as a true Upper East Sider would - by hitting up the invite-only Christian Louboutin sample sale.
Blake Lively has been making a name for herself on all the best dressed lists, and - surprise, surprise, Anna Wintour chose the starlet to grace the cover of the recently released Vogue's "Best Dressed: Special Edition." So while Lively may claim not to have a stylist, one thing is sure: she will be stepping out in style after her recent shopping splurge.
Fashionistas know two things about Louboutin's: the red soles and the steep price tags. So while most are lucky enough to pick up one pair here or there, Lively pulled a van der Woodsen and picked up forty.
Yes, you read that correctly - forty, as in forty pairs of Christian Louboutin shoes.
"I have sisters, so I'm getting gifts for them and for friends," she explained. "Of course, I got quite a few for myself, too."
No word on if the bombshell left the store "looking effortlessly fresh and smelling like cotton candy" as Josh Duboff guessed, but you can bet if she solidified her permanent place in Monsieur Louboutin's good graces.
