America, you might want to put your hands over your ears for this one.
The American Music Awards aired tonight, and the audience was privy to the first performance by New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys (NKOTB + BSB = NKOTBSB).
Unfortunately, the boy bands left much to be desired (aka musical talent), and the performance was a letdown. And really, who says America needed to see (and hear) a mash-up of the groups' hits? That's why there's such a thing as YouTube, iTunes, and Pandora.
