The leaves have changed. The tents have been taken down. It's time.
This Friday, the curtains on Bergdorf's famed windows will close and the Visual Department will begin working tirelessly to design the Holiday Windows.
The process will take David Hoey and his team almost two weeks, but waiting is such a small price to pay to see the beautiful designs that will be created.
The season, however, Polyvore.com is getting in on this tradition. You can head over to the site and compete in the Polyvore Holiday Windows Challenge.
Those who with to compete in the competition need to submit their designs any time between November 5 to November 12. The winning set will be chosen by Linda Fargo, David Hoey, and the @Bergdorfs tweeter.
As if having your design chosen for the display isn't enough, the prize is a $2,500 Bergdorf Goodman Gift Card, an autographed copy of Windows at Bergdorf Goodman, an invitation to the reveal of the windows and book signing, and a private tour of the window display from David Hoey!
