Study Shows That Blonde Women Earn More

You might want to think twice before making blonde jokes. A new study says that blondes have the last laugh – in the workplace, that is.

The Daily Mail reports that a recent study conducted by the U.K’s Superdrug drugstore chain found that women with lighter hair color earn about $870 more per year than their brunette or redheaded counterparts.

The study, which analyzed the annual income of 3,000 British women, also found that blonde women were the most socially engaging and had the highest percentage of college degrees, factors which likely contributed to the higher income.

Readers, what do you think of the results of this study? Will you be dyeing your hair blonde in hopes of a raise?
