Dr. Drew, a new program hosted by practicing physician Dr. Drew Pinsky, is set to debut on HLN (a CNN Worldwide network) on Monday, March 28th. The new show will focus on the most popular current news stories and the motivations that drive human behavior, which is at the heart of every news story.
“We’ll start with honest discussions and direct questions, and we’ll hear from a wide range of people with diverse perspectives and experiences. We’ll dig deep to discover what is really going on behind the headlines to get at the real experiences happening to the people involved,” said Pinsky. “At the center of these stories are issues and behaviors worth examining closely, and worth talking about with depth, compassion and insight.”
Dr. Pinsky is currently on staff at Huntington Memorial Hospital, serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Keck USC School of Medicine, and is also the host of the radio show LOVELINE.
