Would You Wear a Chanel Jerky Purse?


Here’s something I’ve never seen before — a designer handbag that could double as a snack. While the purse pictured above may look exactly like the iconic quilted Chanel 2.55 handbag that fashionistas know and love, it’s actually made out of beef jerky. Seriously.

The meaty Chanel knockoff was made by Nancy Wu, a student at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. To make the bag, she sewed together sheets of beef jerky. I bet this purse smells lovely...and I’m sure Lady Gaga is clamoring to get her hands on one of these.
