President Obama just confirmed to the nation that Osama bin Laden, the former leader of al Qaeda, has been killed in Pakistan by U.S. forces and the United States has his body.
Bin Laden was responsible for the 9/11 terrorist attacks and numerous other crimes against humanity. His death marks an important turning point in the U.S. War on Terror and also the end of a ten-year manhunt.
The repercussions of his death are not yet certain, but news of his death has already had a huge impact around the world.
