With the premiere of The Social Network almost here, do you ever wonder how much Facebook has changed over the past few years? Or, more importantly, how Facebook has changed the social media landscape?
Well, surprise, surprise, the social networking site has grown leaps and bounds since it first appeared for college students.
For example, did you know the average age of a Facebook user is - wait for it - 38?!
On that same note, Facebook has changed the way most of its younger users communicate with others. One statistic found that users aged 18 to 29 use social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace almost as much as they use email.
For users even younger than 18, they use the sites more than they use email.
