Slater Young, the Hotshot Engineer from Cebu" garnered 40.02 percent of the total text votes and was proclaimed Big Winner in the Pinoy Big Brother Season 4 final show. Slater will receive P2 million in cash, an appliance showcase, internet television from Sony, Asian tour package, water station franchise and the chance to appear in one US Show of the Kapamilya Network. Pamu Pamurada of Batangas was second Big Placer, getting 21.49 percent of the total text votes and a prize of P1 million and appliance showcase. Our favorite housemate, Joseph Emil Biggel, the "Promdihirang Tisoy of Marinduque" got 21.39 percent of the total text votes, as this season's 3rd Big Placer. Biggel is one of the youngest housemates and the oungest among the Big Four. Biggel went home with an appliance showcase and P 500,000. Biggel's grandparents, Eligio Somido and Violeta-Somido who are residents of Brgy. Banot in Gasan joined Biggel on stage as he received his prize. This season's housemates made history by staying the longest in the PBB house - 155 days. Over 30,000 auditioners tried out for the search for PBB housemates and only 33 were given the chance as official housemates. After evictions, forced evictions and voluntary exits only four were left after text voting, at times marred by controversies. Biggel and his family extends their warmest gratitude to their many kababayans in marinduque who supported Biggel's bid to win the coveted title. Special thanks are conveyed to Congressman Lord Allan velasco and the Boac DIstrict Office of Cong. Velasco, Chief of Staff Erick Abad, Mayor Vicky Lao Lim, the Sangguniang Bayan ng Gasan, Marinduque State College, Marinduque National High School, Marinduque Midwest College, Bognuyan National High School, and other schools; religious organizations namely, the Destiny Church (U.P.), Gospel Church of Gasan, Iglesia Filipina Independiente, and countless supporters. Many fan groups were formed in support of Biggel, foremost among them are the Biggelievers (Biggel Believers), Biggelievers: Around the World, Team High Voltage (Love-Biggel-Much), that were the most active in promoting Biggel and in text and online voting ensuring that he is 'safe' all the time, Biggel Lovers, Joseph Emil Biggel of Marinduque, and many other Biggel fan pages. Such fan pages are still ben on continuing their support to Biggel as he pursues a probable new career and new episode in his life outside PBB. PBB is the most popular, often controversial life-changing reality show in the Philippines. |

EXERPTS FROM BOY ABUNDA'S INTERVIEW WITH BIGGEL:
Boy: biggel i got it from sources na ayaw ng ama mo na gamitin ang pangalang Biggel. dahil sinungaling ka raw.
Biggel: Una na sa lahat di man ako sinungaling, pinalaki ako ng maayos ng lolo't lola ko, kung ako man po'y nagsisinungaling ngayon siguradong di po nila ako matatanggap. malaking kahihiyan ko po sa kanila kung nagasinungaling ako.
Boy: Pero naiintindihan mo ba kung bakit sinabi ng tatay mo na sinungaling ka?
Biggel: Naiintindihan ko po kasi galit sya sa akin, at di nya po ako tanggap.
Boy: Bakit galit sya sayo? samantala nung bata ka, parang nagumpisa namang tanggapin ka nya.
Biggel: kasi daw po mali yung pag papalaki sakin ng lolo't lola ko. parang kaya ako pumunta sa kanya dahil sa pera.
Boy: sinabi nya yan sayo?
Biggel: sinabi rin nya sa lolo ko
Boy: Pero biggel may pagkakataon noon na may nakita kaming mga letrato nung bata ka na kasama mo ang iyong ama, hindi ba yon kontra, labag, doon sa sinasabi mo sa amin na first time mong makakita ng shower dito sa bahay, first time mong makakita ng chocolates, samantalang ayon sa aming sources you stayed from the house of your father for about 2 weeks.
Biggel: Nakakain na po ako ng chocolate na po, yun po nakakita ako ng shower bago ako pumunta dito tsaka din dun sa kanila pero di lang ako marunong gumamit.
Boy: pero syempre nakakita ka ng shower?
Biggel: verbatim "oo"
Boy: Pero bakit sinabi mo in a certain point dito sa loob ng bahay na hindi ka pa nakakita.
Biggel: Iba pong klase
Boy: Ahh ibang klase lamang.... Hindi mo ginawa ito dahil gusto kang kaawaan ng tao?
Biggel: hindi naman po, away kong kaawaan ako.
Boy: Ayaw mong kaawaan ka
Biggel: kasi po parang nababa po yung sarili ko.
Boy: Kung hindi awa ang gusto mo, ano ang gusto mo?
Biggel: Respeto. yan laang
Boy: Itong ano, itong image mo na kawawa, Bobo, ahh totoo ba ito o ginagawagawa mo lang ito para magustuhan ka ng tao.
Biggel: Hindi naman po, aminado ako sa sarili ko.
Boy: but your aware that this is a contest? aware ka na isa itong paligsahan, aware ka na may mananalo at matatalo dito sa paligsahan na ito.

Boy: So strategy mo ba ito?
Biggel: hindi naman po.
Boy: Totoo ba ito?
Biggel: totoo po ako.
Boy: kasi hindi ka naman bobo ha nag- uusap tayo matalino ka namang sumagot.
Biggel: ahmm yun po yung sabi ng lulu ko kung anong laman ng damdamin ko sabihin ko. Iba po ung pagka bobo kagaya sa English bobo ako dun.
Boy: Hindi naman lahat ng marunong mag english ay matalino.
Biggel: yun po sa mathematics, aminado naman, hindi naman bobo po mahina lang ang ulo.
Boy: Ano ang kaya mong gawin para manalo dito sa PBB
Biggel: Ah siguro yung tipong hindi ako masuko yun po.
Boy: Sabi ni Slater masyado kang immature, sabi ni Divine para kang Bata, walang pinag bago ganun ka parin. bakit dapat hindi si Divine ang manalo?
Biggel: hindi ko po alam. kasi po napilian na kame ay, si Pamu pareng slater,
Boy: anong pinili mo? si Pamu ang winner?

Biggel: Syempre po naisip ko rin na ano ay kung sa ganun hindi...
